Sport is great for your health but injuries can occur. Cramp, aching or painful muscles, joint ache, stiffness, reduced mobility, numbness, reduced muscle strength are all symptomatic of a problem. Sport and Remedial Massage can successfully be used to treat many of these problems and prevent them re-occuring.

Sports Massage consists of deeper and more concentrated techniques which are applied deeper to the core layers of the muscles. Sports Massage combines deep tissue massage, pressure point and joint manipulation techniques.

During training periods massage should form a regular and valuble part of training.  Regular massage during training can locate and relieve areas of stress that carry high risk of injury. Regular massage alleviates muscle tightness resulting in more effiecient muscle response, breaks down adhesions, improving muscle power, increases mobility, better circulation and less chance of repetitive injury. Sports massage is ideal for those undertaking any form of sporting activity, aerobic exercise or any demanding physical activity.

As well as treating many injuries associated with sport, used on a regular basis, Sports Massage can improve the performance of both the professional sports person as well as those who just enjoy keeping fit.
